Pa made a strong showing, with 48 states correctly identified.  Ma was a little fuzzy on some of those states in the middle of the country.  As for Big kid, there is a lot of room for improvement … we are optimistic that by the end of the trip she will do much, much better.  Little kid crumpled his map into a ball and threw it.

So this is our blog. As the family Luddite, I voted for journaling in a composition notebook …. but I was apparently outvoted …. and so here I am writing on our blog (does one write in a blog  or on a blog?). Not knowing much about blogging, I had lots of questions for Pa (do we write in first person or third person? who will actually read this, other than my mom? do we filter out the mundane and only share the amusing? isn’t the whole thing rather self indulgent? how often do we write?). But, since he did not answer any of my questions (I am fairly certain he was not actually listening to them) … I am on my own trying to navigate the blogosphere …..
